GREED & SUICIDE

Getting  and chasing after money, wealth and riches IS NOT all that it is cracked up to be.
Look at President Trump and where his great wealth has gotten him.
Eventually greed will kill you, one way or another. For some it's a too early exit by suicide.

Then Jesus said to them, “Beware, and be on your guard against every form of greed; for not even when one has an abundance does his life consist of his possessions.”

Luke 12:15

Will your riches keep you from distress,
Or all the forces of your strength?

"Having food and clothing, let us be content with that."

"We brought NOTHING into this world, and it is CERTAIN that we can carry NOTHING out."

"Our life is as a Vapor / Mist that appears just a little while and than vanishes away."

"Those who KEEP MY+ sayings shall NEVER see Death, ( John 8:51 )
but IS passed from death into Life." ( John 5:24 )

This life is an illusion.
REALITY begins when we close our eyes in death.
Listen to JESUS.

Samson, thanks for the bible truth which so many have forgotten and chase after lies and false hope.

"Our life is as a Vapor / Mist that appears just a little while and than vanishes away."

So short, especially for those who follow after vanity and stuff.
With the foundation these 2 souls built on sand there was nothing firm to get them thru their personal sin storm.
BUILD A FIRM FOUNDATION, not one on riches that crumble.

Hi Marcel,

Love the post and comments on this! I am reminded how the Word of God ALWAYS stands true -- will refrain from expressing, first handedly, my learning of how this demonic force creeps in only to destroy and DEMENT the truth -- even with those who are "very righteous" about their own Salvation, yet JUSTIFY their "needs" for living on this planet/apt/home-whatever! I've seen and witnessed it -- it's heinous and it end relationships with people. I kinda like being a part of it all because usually, I'm cast off! and that's the good news for me as I rejoice when I am cast away! It's reassuring!

Two things ...

21 And he looked up, and saw the rich men casting their gifts into the treasury.

2 And he saw also a certain poor widow casting in thither two mites.

3 And he said, Of a truth I say unto you, that this poor widow hath cast in more than they all:

4 For all these have of their abundance cast in unto the offerings of God: but she of her penury hath cast in all the living that she had. Luke 21

And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. Luke 21 :34

God bless and thanks again!!!

We have Gehazi to Lazarus and the rich man to the rich young man who walked away from Jesus because he could not let it go, and Judas the betrayer ,another suicide by greed fool to teach us about wealth and I don't think the American LAODECIAN Church does much warning on the subject.

I'm cast off!
Same here and thank God for this hidden blessing.
The pretentiousness and shallow vanity of those who chase after fleeting wealth is not life for me.
Been around it (step brother) was a millionaire and died in his early 50's.
I was never "in" with the in crowd even in the "in" Church clique, thank God. They fizzled anyways.

Worked for many filthy rich who taught me the emptiness, worthlessness of it all.
Jesus has kept me right where He wants me and that is trusting in Him and not $.
